$645.00

Join us for 4 days of immersion in the incredible world of bamboo. Planting, management, harvesting, construction and weaving with this amazing plant that is the foundational material of so many cultures throughout the world. We will also share some of the many varieties with tasty shoots to create culinary delights. Not all bamboos are made equal. With almost 2000 named species and cultivars we will help you to select the right species for your situation and needs. In this workshop we will utilise a range of construction techniques to build a small shelter and you will get the opportunity to hone your handiwork and weave your own durable small craft pieces to take home.
